Service terms
The short, plain-English version of how a job works. Booking a job with us means you agree to these terms.
Who we are
Big Mouth Junk Removal is a small, owner-operated junk removal service in Broward County, Florida: one owner, one pickup truck. "We" and "us" mean Big Mouth Junk Removal; "you" means the person booking the job.
Quotes and prices
Prices on this website are starting prices, priced by how much of the truck your items fill (all listed on our pricing page). Your quote is based on the photos and details you send us.
We confirm the final price on site, before anything is loaded. If there is more than the photos showed, we tell you the new price first, and nothing extra goes on the truck without your OK. If there is less, you pay less.
Add-ons (for example mattresses, refrigerant appliances, extra stairs or heavy material) only apply if they are in your quote.
What we take, and what we won’t
You confirm that you own the items, or have the right to get rid of them (for example as the landlord or for an estate). Only point us at things you are done with: once items are hauled to the disposal facility, we can’t get them back.
For safety and disposal rules, we can’t take:
- Paint (liquid latex, oil-based or spray cans with product left; fully dried latex cans are OK)
- Chemicals, solvents, pesticides and pool chemicals
- Propane tanks or any gas cylinder (grills OK with the tank removed)
- Gasoline, motor oil, fuel cans, or equipment with fuel or oil in it
- Car batteries and lithium batteries (e-bike, scooter, power-tool packs)
- Fluorescent tubes, CFL bulbs and other mercury items
- Asbestos or suspected asbestos (popcorn ceiling, old floor tile, pipe wrap)
- Medical waste, needles or biohazards
- Household garbage, food waste or bagged kitchen trash
- Dead animals or animal waste
- Ammunition, fireworks, explosives or firearms
- Old tube (CRT) TVs and monitors
- Pianos, hot tubs, safes, or single items over about 300 lb
If we find one of these items in a load (for example a can of liquid paint in a box), we leave it behind with you.
Construction debris and light demolition depend on your city’s hauling rules. We’ll tell you before booking whether we can take it.
Heavy items and access
Solo operator: heavy two-person items (fridges, sectionals, washers, etc.) are taken from the ground floor only, when they can be moved with a dolly. No helper available.
Please tell us about stairs, elevators, gates or long walks when you book. We may decline any item we can’t move safely, and we’ll say so up front instead of guessing.
Payment
You pay when the job is done, by cash or Zelle. You only pay the price you agreed to on site.
Scheduling and cancelling
We work weeknight evenings and weekends. Your time slot is confirmed by text or phone.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please text or call as early as you can. It lets us offer the slot to someone else. If we ever need to change your appointment (weather, the truck, a job running long), we’ll tell you as early as we can and find a new time.
Photos of your job
We may take before-and-after photos to confirm what was hauled. We only post job photos online with your permission, and never photos that show people, faces, house numbers or any personal information.
Changes and questions
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Questions? Call or text (305) 807-7015 or email aramismf57@gmail.com.
